BIO
Rebecca (Becky) M. Sanford DeRousie (she | her) has been with Rankin Climate since 2015 as Qualitative Specialist. Prior to joining Rankin Climate, Becky’s research interests focused on qualitative methods, early childhood development, and the implementation and sustainability of evidence-based interventions. Becky received her Ph.D. in Human Development and Family Studies from The Pennsylvania State University with a qualitative dissertation examining the sustainability of the REDI program, a curriculum focusing on early literacy and social-emotional development in preschoolers. She also holds an MA in Culture, Curriculum, and Change from the School of Education at UNC-Chapel Hill, and a BA in Psychology from Kenyon College.
