BIO

Kapri L. Brown, M.S., currently serves as the Associate Director of The Office of Multicultural Student Affairs at Shippensburg University of Pa. For over 10 years Kapri has been a mover and a shaker for social justice and change; her job puts her on the front lines assisting young people in achieving goals and realizing dreams. She has developed and implemented an array of cultural, social, and academic programs, advocating on behalf of students, as well as assisted in developing cultural programs to educate the campus and surrounding communities about diversity. As a professional in higher education, Kapri has presented at various conferences, and summits. Moreover, she is passionate about her work with students, and empowering them to find their voices to become agents for change. She values the college experience as well as the importance of educating faculty, staff, and students about what it means to be “diverse” and cultivating diversity in a university setting and beyond. She has a B.S. in Psychology and a M.S. in Counseling with a specialization in College Student Personnel both from Shippensburg University of Pa.
