BIO

Gabriel Reif, PhD serves as Vice President with Rankin Climate. Dr. Reif specializes in data science, data visualization, and survey research methods, and his career has focused on assessing and fostering equity and inclusion in educational contexts. At Rankin, Gabe oversees the development of the Rankin Climate Data Warehouse, and pursues other opportunities relating to big data.

Dr. Reif earned his PhD from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst in Higher Education Policy, Research, and Administration. He also holds an MEd from the University of Vermont in Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration, and a BS in Biology from Brandeis University. Prior to joining Rankin Climate, Gabe worked in the areas of institutional research and program evaluation at Mount Holyoke College, the University of Massachusetts, and the Harvard Graduate School of Education. He also currently chairs the Massachusetts Higher Education Tableau Users Group and serves as a quality improvement consultant to the Vermont Suicide Prevention Center.
