Esperanza Anaya (she/her) is an Assistant Program Director and Associate Professor for the Health Service Psychology Program at Kansas City University (KCU). She received her Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology from Indiana University and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of California Irvine. Since entering higher education, she has worked to create an inclusive workplace and learning environment at the programmatic and university level. Dr. Anaya is a co-founding member of KCU’s Health Service Psychology Program, which aims to train socially conscious clinical psychologists.
