BIO

At Rankin Climate since 2017, Christina serves as a Senior Research Associate and provides expertise and support for measurement and statistics, survey development and administration, database management, and data visualization. Christina is also a Senior Diversity Strategist at Johns Hopkins University. In this role, Christina develops scalable, evidence-based solutions to institution-wide equity and inclusion goals through research, assessment, and data visualization. Prior to this role, they served as Associate Director of Institutional Research and Assessment at Gonzaga University and as Director of Planning, Institutional Effectiveness, and Research at Spokane Falls Community College. Christina’s academic training is in Philosophy, Mathematics, Physics, History of Science and Technology, Higher Education Administration, and Educational Psychology. Shaped by their experiences while a Physics Ph.D. student and as a higher education staff member, Christina’s research interests include undergraduate research, higher education staff and campus microclimates, higher education’s “ideal worker” norms, and critical university studies.
