BIO
As an project manager, Melody creates inclusive and thriving environments for all community members. With a research and project management background, she manages clients through comprehensive climate assessments, strategic planning, and change management initiatives.
As a team member, Melody takes charge of planning, executing, and managing projects from start to finish. Her expertise lies in developing and building climates that foster the well-being and success of individuals from diverse backgrounds. She understands the importance of creating an inclusive and supportive atmosphere where everyone can thrive. Melody’s research work involves collaborating with various institutions to conduct climate assessments. Melody collaborates with her Rankin Climate team and clients to gain valuable insights into the community or organization’s current state and identify improvement areas.
Before joining Rankin Climate, she was a co-investigator on projects funded by the National Institute on Disability Independent Living and Rehabilitation Research. Most of her research initiatives target improving access to employment and transportation to disadvantaged populations, including people with disabilities and older adults. She holds a master’s degree in public administration from Capella University and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Seton Hall University.
Melody lives in New Jersey with her husband. Outside work, she can cook, travel, or teach CPR & First Aid classes.
