BIO
Dr. Kadian McIntosh uses mixed methodologies to improve access, experiences, and success within the areas of campus and classroom environments; organizational policies and practices; teaching, learning, and development; curriculum/instructional design, and international/experiential education.
She works to improve organizations and STEM education by working with executive teams, Admissions, Diversity and Inclusion, as well as Curricular, Faculty, and Student Affairs to create better environments and developmental experiences for students, faculty, and staff. Dr. McIntosh’s strategic planning and evaluation expertise comes from medical education research, external evaluation roles on nationally competitive grants, executive consulting, project management, research insight roles such as Media and Learning Design Evaluator, Program Assessment Coordinator, and Data Analyst. She has a strong focus on learning, development, and mentoring from her research agenda and work as a Team Development Facilitator, Senior Diversity Educator, Instructor, and roles within Residence Life.
Outside of Rankin Climate she is the Assistant Dean of Assessment, Evaluation & Analytics for the College of Veterinary Medicine and Assistant Research Professor in the Educational Policy Studies and Practice department at the University of Arizona.
Kadian has a Ph.D. in Higher Education and Graduate Certificate in Institutional Research from Pennsylvania State University. She received her master’s degree in Educational Leadership as well as her bachelor’s degree in Psychology with Honors from Florida International University.
